Description
This family event will feature 5K and 10K chip timed runs, 1.5 mile Awareness Walk, Kids Fun Run, kids activities inlcuding: inflatables, petting zoo, face painting, color hair spray, cookie decorating, fire and police vehicle tours and horse-drawn carriage rides.
Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 fundraisers
Prizes will be awarded to the 1st and 2nd place winners of the 10K
Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 males and top 3 females of the 5K

8:00-10:15am Registration
9:00am 5K and 10K Chipped Timed Runs Begin
10:30am Kids Fun Run
Opening Speech begins after the Kids Fun Run

Awareness Walk begins after the Opening Speech
Team Photos will take place AFTER the walk (meet at the gazebo as soon as you're done walking)

Awareness Walk
$25 per adult until August 30th (includes event shirt)
$30 per adult after August 30th (NO event shirt)

5K Race
$30 per adult until August 30th (includes event shirt)
$35 per adult after August 30th (NO event shirt)
10K Race
$35 per adult until August 30th (includes event shirt)

$40 per adult after August 30th (NO event shirt)
Kids (ages 5-12)
$10 per child if they want an event shirt or to participate in the 5K
Free if they do not want an event shirt and do not want to participate in the 5K
If you register to run the 5K or 10K please stay and join us for the Awareness Walk, this is included in your registration fee!
Team Captains, you must create a new fundraising page each year before your team members begin registering so your team total will be correct! Follow this link to create a page.
ATTENTION HEART FAMILIES!
Lasting Imprint will be hosting a get together at 6pm the night before the event on September 14th at The Children's Museum of Southern Minnesota. Food will be provided by Pub 500.This is a great opportunity for everyone to spend time getting to know each other before the big day! We have 4 free rooms for Friday night for those families traveling a long distance. Please contact Kristen at kristen.thomas@lastingimprint.org for more information.
Once again we would like to display posters along the walk route to share our CHD stories. Posters must be received no later than the night of September 14th in order to be displayed during the event.
If you or your child has not yet received a "CHD Warrior" or "my CHD Warrior has wings" shirt please let us know as we will be placing an order so they arrive in time for the event. Lasting Imprint covers the cost of these shirts so there is no expense to your family.
